Undergraduate Students’ Perception of Using Extensive Reading Strategy in Vocabulary Mastery

Objective: Reading is one of the most essential skills in learning, especially English learning. Technological sophistication that developing rapidly 21st century requires students to be literate order able compete critical thinking and receive latest information. The program suitable for conditions this extensive reading, which offers reading pleasure according level students' abilities. Method: type approach used research qualitative. Only fifteen undergraduate have received an course fifth semester obtain optimal results. In collecting data using two instruments, namely questionnaires interviews. Results: results shown are positive perceptions after receiving activities, addition vocabulary affects their motivation. Novelty: encourage future researchers dig up information about effectiveness increasing acquisition.
